EmploymentEmployees of The VISIONS Network bring a variety of educational and experiential backgrounds to their work. Fields of expertise include:
In addition to full-time staff, VISIONS works with a network of professionals who provide information, consultation and specialized assessment. This network includes, but is not limited to, social service agencies or providers, case management agencies, attorneys, private physicians and/or psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, and various local, state and federal government agencies who serve people with disabilities. VolunteeringVolunteers perform valuable work with The VISIONS Network. Give us a call to arrange a time when you can meet some of the people receiving services. And, plan to talk with our director to determine where you are most comfortable and where your talents may best be used. Volunteers are required to pass both a physical exam and a TB test, and to participate in training provided by the Illinois Department of Human Services. A reference/criminal background check is done for all potential volunteers, and information received is held in strict confidence. Volunteers are supervised by a VISIONS Network staff member.
